  I've been scoping this place for awhile since I drive in the area.... today I got a chance to try them out even though someone told me their donuts a very dry... I like to give places chances.... worst decision ever... I walk in and the man working doesn't even greet me so I say hello. He responds as if he doesn't want to serve me and says "can I help you". I repeat "hello"... he responds with a attitude "hello, how can I help you" in a super short tone..
  I then start asking about the donuts and he's short and doesn't look at me...
  I bought a peanut cake donut and it was horrible... it tasted stale and super dry!!!!
  I'll never go here again

  We love Continental Cafe's donuts. A great selection and they always have a pink sprinkled for our daughter. Stop in for a dozen and support a local small business! You won't be disappointed.

  I am the owner of Continental Cafe and would like to respond to the negative review from Mr. Nordval. Mr. Nordval came in several times to buy donuts for customers of his and always complemented me for the great donuts we sold to him. Never once did he ever say the donuts were stale and he always came back for more. He even commented that they were so good that he had to refrain from eating all of them himself. After a few times coming in and purchasing the donuts he asked if he could put his order on credit and I said that was fine but would have to leave credit card information in case something happened that the bill wasn't paid. He agreed. Well, after about a month of ordering donuts, he never came back to pay and I had to start calling him. The last time I spoke to him he said he would come in that Friday to pay the bill. He never showed and I had no choice but to charge his credit card. I waited through the weekend until Monday. This is why he is mad. Because he had no intentions of paying for the donuts, I think. He called and complained and I finally had to speak to his boss and I credited his credit card back and ran hers to satisfy the charge. She was great and apologized for Mr. Nordval's behavior. His review is utterly false through and through. I have never looked at these things but from now on I will to refute and dispute negative reviews that are so far from the actual truth.
